Life after lockdown
Updated: Nov 19, 2021
Almost 2 years since the pandemic began and time to take stock of what I want my life to look like. Perhaps you too have found your priorities changing? As I was ill for most of last year - first with mild Covid and then with Long Covid - it is so joyful for me to be feeling back to normal and able to do all the things I used to do. However, although I am enjoying seeing family and friends and going out more, I am still cautious about what I do and where I go.
I do know what I definitely want more of though:
being creative - I have lots of new ideas for art projects, inspired by my love of the coast and the sea
more time spent in nature - coastal rowing is still one of my favourite past time. There were many times last year when I thought I would never be able to row again and this was unbearable to contemplate. Now I savour every moment when I am out on the water.
quality time with family and friends - I missed them all very much during lockdown.
adventure with my partner - we both love taking off in a campervan and visiting new places, especially in our native beautiful Scotland.
