The elegant and colourful tulips dancing and swaying in the spring sunshine inspired this painting. I used loose and lively washes of liquid acrylic on Yupo paper to achieve the illusion of movement. The surface of the paper is non-absorbent and the paint slips and slides around in a free way. Perfect for capturing the subject matter!
